We understand this time can bring a lot of joy and, sometimes, a lot of sorrow. For many, Mother’s Day is a time to celebrate your fantastic mom/grandma/etc. For others, Mother’s Day brings up feelings of grief and sorrow. Some have never been able to have children. Some have lost children. Some don’t have a relationship with their mother. Some, with fresh or old wounds, are grieving the relationship they once had with their mother.
Often, we’ve seen this sorrow give birth to motherhood in unexpected ways. To the unexpected mothers who have shown up in real ways, this is a time to celebrate you! As we celebrate motherhood for almost two weeks, we hope to create a feeling of thankfulness and joy. For whatever season of motherhood you find yourself in,
Happy Mother’s Day!
